I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Farlow Herbarium in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. My research focuses on fungal diversity through the lens of molecular systematics, taxonomy, macroevolution, and biogeography. I utilize fungal collections, high-throughput sequencing techniques, and phylogenetic comparative methods to discover and describe new species of fungi; explore fungal genetic and biogeographic patterns; and understand major drivers of fungal evolution and how evolutionary patterns are shaped by species’ biology and ecology.
